Elle a aim\u00e9 dans cet homme sans tare et sans complexe une sorte de h\u00e9ros super-normal, un anti-superman, un \u00eatre dont la vitalit\u00e9 sans cesse renouvel\u00e9e repr\u00e9sentait pour chacun une preuve de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et une promesse de bonheur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ET LE SPECTATEUR RETIENT SON SOUFFLE&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Afin d\u2019\u00e9pouser sa bien aim\u00e9e, Harold d\u00e9cide d\u2019aller faire fortune \u00e0 la ville. Son emploi de vendeur dans un grand magasin le confronte aux remontrances de son chef et aux meutes d\u00e9cha\u00een\u00e9es de clientes. A sa fianc\u00e9e survenue \u00e0 l\u2019improviste, il fait croire qu\u2019il occupe un poste directorial et d\u00e9cide de gravir les \u00e9chelons hi\u00e9rarchiques&#8230; Quatri\u00e8me des dix-huit longs m\u00e9trages d\u2019Harold Loyd, c\u2019est la s\u00e9quence de l\u2019ascension du building qui fait de Safety last une oeuvre inoubliable et g\u00e9niale. Elle occupe un tiers du m\u00e9trage total.
